In this project, we learned that Tiffny has a passion as a beekeeper! As we were shopping for her backsplash we found a marble octagon splash that mimics a bee hive. Although it was slightly out of budget, Beth encouraged her to make the splurge. When a design element speaks to your heart, you know you will cherish it forever. Next came the bee pillows, we had them custom made to add a touch of whimsy. The counter stools are hand woven in charcoal seagrass rope for added texture.

My favorite part of being a designer is walking into someone’s home and immediately knowing the things we could do to make a big impact to improve the way they live. By listening to our Tiffny & Brian’s needs we cultivated their sense of style, to create a seamless look throughout their home. The kitchen flows nicely and does not stand out as an afterthought. We kept their existing hardwood flooring that flows in their home.

It is very important to me that my clients’ homes and work spaces should function well and be a true reflection of their lifestyle. I strive to deliver unique designs based on my client’s goals. I truly value my clients’ opinions, but never shy away from offering new and exciting directions to meet their objectives.

Interiors by Beth Reed specializes in remodeling Kitchen and Bathrooms. We use a design program to measure the space and then it converts the rooms into a 3-d model that is like a blank canvas. From this, we can show our vision of knocking down walls and adding details for craftsmen to build from.

Tiffny is a busy mom of 4 who cooks almost every meal and is a health coach. She and her husband Brian called Beth in hopes of making their kitchen more functional. Brian was tired of staring at the large range hood impeding his sight and he would often hit his head on it. Tiffny wanted a solution for pantry storage and a place where her small appliances could be housed. Tiffany uses her toaster oven, crockpot, airfryer and blender often. Once the project was kicked off, Beth knew immediately the desk could be taken out and she custom designed a furniture style cabinet that would be appealing and functional. The cabinet offers rollouts behind the cabinet doors for pantry storage and cereal which is tucked neatly out of sight.

Mixing metals is all the rage right now. This trend can be implemented in several ways. The first, and most common, is mixing metal finishes in hardware and lighting. Another way to infuse this trend into your design is to mix other finishes like cabinet colors and tiles. Whatever way you decide to mix this into your design, we love it because it has that worldly, very curated feel that any warm home has.

Our design philosophy is rooted in striking a balance between distinctly different and comfortably livable. We bring together all the chicness of modern style with cozy, layered elements for an inviting, relaxed feel. We seek to take the fear out of embracing bold design by introducing color and pattern in an approachable way. With each project, we challenge the rules and push boundaries to achieve one-of-a-kind designs uniquely suited to each client.

We collaborate with high level trade professionals who are passionate about their work. Here, we worked with Precision Construction and other local craftsmen.
